We are delighted to be able to offer the use of Nailsea and Backwell Dog Field to the local community to use with their dogs more or less however they wish. As well as exercising your dog you are welcome to bring your dog trainer or behaviourist during your time slot. The secure, yet freedom feel of the field provides the ideal location to train and teach your dog safely. There are however a few rules we ask all member to abide by to make using the field a pleasant experience for all our members and canine friends.

 

·    You must only use the field if you have booked a time slot.

·    Please wait in your car or well away from the entrance if you are on foot so the previous booking can leave the field. 

·    Please ensure you leave the field promptly so the next member can have access.  Your timeslot does include getting your dog(s) back into your vehicle/away from the field to prevent interference with the next user.

·    Dogs must be kept on a lead until safely in the secure field.

·    You must pick up after your dog, a bin is provided to dispose of poo bags.

·    Please ensure your dogs are up to date with their vaccinations and worming. Puppies are allowed to use the field from 8 weeks old provided their vaccinations are in place.

·    If your dogs' show any signs of being unwell please act responsibly. 

·    Dogs must be kept under control at all times in accordance with The Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 (as amended).

·    Please do not allow your dog to dig.

·    Please do not climb the fence.

·    Please note there are no toilets available on site.

·    Please use common sense and act with consideration for other members.

·    We accept no responsibility for any damage, loss or injury that occurs on our premises, this includes the use of any equipment within the field whether provided or brought with you.

What to do on arrival.

-        Drive your car into the field and stop before the gate.

-        You will find the orange lock box on the right, hand side of the gate.

-         Use the code that was sent to you in an email to release the key.

-        Unlock the gate and push the gates inwards.

-        Drive your car into the secure field and park on the gravel.

-        Close the gates behind you.

-        Once secure let your dog enjoy the field!

-        When leaving be sure to close the gates behind you and return the key to the lock box.
